Outage Texting

Tri-County Electric Co-op members can easily and quickly text in outages. By enrolling, you can also receive restoration notices via text message.

 

Register in Outage Texting

1) Enroll your cell phone number and account number through our registration portal.

2) Confirm your registration by entering the pass code.

3) Save 25069 to your contacts to allow you to quickly report an outage.

Outage Texting FAQ

How do I sign up for Outage Texting?

To participate in Outage Texting, follow these steps:

  1. Enroll your cell phone number and account number through our registration portal.

  2. Confirm registration by entering the pass code.

  3. Save 25069 to your contacts to quickly report an outage.

I have multiple accounts. Can I sign up for Outage Texting at each location?

Yes! Members can enroll to receive outage texts for every meter. If the same mobile number is listed for each account, you will need to register your cell phone number and account number through our registration portal. Each account will have a unique nickname to expedite reporting.

Can we get texts on each family member's phone?

Yes! Members can register family member numbers to receive outage texts through our registration portal. 

How much does it cost to enroll in Outage Texting?

Outage Texting is a free service for Tri-County Electric Co-op members to help keep you up-to-date on the status of outages and your electric service. Message and data charges may apply.
