Round Up

Change adds up. With Round Up, your monthly electric bill is automatically rounded to the nearest dollar. That spare change goes directly to members who need help paying their electric bill.

Most members contribute about 50 cents a month, or roughly $6 a year. It's a small act that, when combined with your neighbors doing the same, creates something much bigger.

How Donations are Used

Cooperative Giving is funded through recurring Round Up contributions and one-time donations from employees, members, and the broader community. Funds collected are forwarded to Texas Neighborhood Services (TNS), a local agency that manages the electric bill payment assistance program.

Corporate Sponsorships

Businesses can also get involved through corporate sponsorships.

Partners gain brand visibility and a meaningful connection to the community while directly supporting Cooperative Giving. For more information about partnership opportunities, reach out to CooperativeGiving@tcectexas.com.

About Tri-County Cooperative GIving

The Cooperative Giving program was established to uplift Tri-County Electric Cooperative members and the community by using voluntary donations to provide electric bill payment assistance and to fund projects that meaningfully serve the membership or benefit the community.

The Cooperative Giving program is financially independent from Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. This means contributions do not come from members' electric bill payments unless a member requests to donate. The fees to create the corporation were sponsored by CoBank, a cooperative lender.  All funds raised are voluntary donations by employees, members, and the community.
