Allegiant Utility Services: Our contractor for our meter deployment.
How it works
Allegiant Utility Services crew members will:
- Knock on the member's door upon arrival at the property to let the member know they are onsite. A door hanger will be left on the front door notifying the member that a crew was onsite if no one answers the door. When switching out meters, there will be a short outage.
- Take a photo of the current meter and kWh reading before removing the meter.
- Take a photo of the meter socket once the meter is removed. This serves as a safety check to ensure the equipment is safe and up-to-date.
- Place the new meter in the socket and take a picture of the new meter and kWh reading.
These crew members are working on behalf of Tri-County Electric Cooperative to change out all meters on our system.
